Maccauvlei on Vaal – Giving Back to the Community

As a business in the Vaal Triangle, it is important to help uplift the community and surrounding areas. Giving back to the community has always been a strong belief of the staff, management as well as business owner of Maccauvlei on Vaal – and what better way than to help children in need in your own community. Maccauvlei on Vaal is a proud supporter of Matt’s Foundation, a non-profit organisation that assist underprivileged children in the Vaal community with their most basic needs such as food, clothes, electricity, stationery and more.

Not only does Maccauvlei on Vaal support Matt’s Foundation by sponsoring goods such as linen and furniture, but also gives the organisation the opportunity to host fundraising events at this venue. One of which is the annual Potjiekos and Garage Sale Day, an event not to be missed in 2014! The Potjiekos Masters and their spouses and friends can enjoy the day with live entertainment and lots of fun for the kids.

Another initiative supported by Maccauvlei on Vaal, is the Fridays for Matt’s campaign – where staff members of Maccauvlei on Vaal proudly wear their Matt’s Foundation t-shirts in support of this cause. This is a great initiative for all companies in the Vaal to help create awareness for Matt’s Foundation, and is already being supported by Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club and MV Communications.

If you would like to assist with one of Matt’s Foundation’s various projects, please contact them on helpus@mattsfoundation.co.za / 016 420 2245 or visit www.mattsfoundation.org.za.
