Top 10: New Year’s Resolutions

It’s that time of the year again where New Year’s resolutions are made while reflecting on the year that has passed. It should be quite interesting to see how many of these resolutions have been successful in 2012, as we all know that many of these can be quite drastic sometimes!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Here are the past year’s top 10 New Year’s resolutions. Which of these have you been able to achieve?

• Lose weight
• Be less stressed
• Save more money
• Travel to new places
• Stay fit and healthy
• Learn something exciting
• Quit smoking
• Volunteer
• Drink less
• Spend more time with family

Some of these are harder than others, but one thing is for sure, if you need help you most probably will find it at the Riviera on Vaal Hotel and Country Club! You can cover losing weight, staying fit and healthy and being less stressed by visiting their golf course on a regular basis. Keep an eye out for their specials and packages and save money that way. Travelling to new places can also be covered if you’ve never been to the Resort. Learn something exciting by taking part in the Riviera on Vaal Country Club’s golf clinics or learn how to water-ski on the Vaal River with Twin Boats lending a helping hand. Volunteering has never been easier: Matt’s Foundation is a charity organization and the Riviera on Vaal Resort’s CSI initiative which supports children in the Vaal. Contact them on 016 455 6100 and find out where you can help a child’s dreams come true in 2013. Spending more time with your family… well, it’s impossible not to when visiting the Riviera on Vaal.
