What to do with leftover wine corks:

There are so many things to do with leftover wine corks these days so RiverBlogger decided to investigate. Here are a few tips on what to do with those wine corks instead of throwing them away:

  •  Use the corks to make your own trivets
  •  Encourage your kids to be creative and make wine cork stamps
  • Mark your herbs in the garden with it
  • Make drawer handles from the larger corks like those from a sparkling wine bottle
  • Make your own wine cork Christmas tree (Speaking of Christmas Trees – have a look at the Riviera on Vaal Hotel’s Christmas Tree for 2012 here: Tree of Life

  • Be romantic and make a heart from red and white wine corks
